Cheryl has always loved all things made with clay. Her favourite thing to do was collect mugs at One of a Kind craft shows.
In 2021, she decided to take a pottery class and learn to make her own mugs. She quickly fell in love with the craft and built her own studio in her barn. Handbuilding became her passion and she learned to make a variety of things… mugs, platters, trays, bowls, trinket dishes and creative animals, to name a few. Preferring variety to a central theme, Cheryl enjoys creating new designs. Cheryl’s passion for entrepreneurship, teaching and pottery came together in 2024 and she created The Clayful Potters Studio; a studio specializing in a unique, beginner-friendly experience perfect for casual potters looking to try pottery without a long-term commitment.
