Wendy Clement
Yellow House Studio
Studio #2. 112 Kerry Hill Crescent, Dunrobin.
Wendy is passionate about cyanotype – the art of sun photography – which dates back to the mid-1800s. A camera-less technique that harnesses the UV light of the sun to create stunning blue and white images, in its simplest form, the cyanotype process involves creating a print by arranging objects on specially coated material, like paper, and exposing it to the sun’s UV rays. Wendy’s work is largely nature inspired – which is reflected in most of the pieces she creates.
Yellow House Studio is aptly named for Wendy’s yellow house, which sits right in the middle of a couple of acres of lawns and gardens, with a little woods behind, in the community of Dunrobin, Ontario.
